Primarily responsible for designing and developing internal training for our Security Operations Center (SOC) staff globally, as part of a global training organization, Knowledge & Capability Management (KCM), under our Global Services organization. You will work with instructors and management across the world to ensure alignment of course designs, development, and content according to business requirements and priorities. This individual will be able to independently develop entry and advanced level courses utilizing multimedia technology and authoring tools to support learning solutions and change initiatives tied to the growth and development of Global Services within NTT Security.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and align learning initiatives with GS strategy which includes the ability to identify, analyse, understand, and articulate business goals and objectives at the business unit level
  • Manage multiple project simultaneously
  • Provide program management oversight for various learning programs – both new and existing
  • Responsible for all aspects of the assessment, design, development and implementation of assigned large projects and takes projects from original concept through final implementation
  • Conduct learning needs assessments and perform instructional design and development to support learning
  • Develop eLearning, virtual, and traditional training content using various technologies and tools for technical and systems skill related learning
  • Lead or participate in the design, development, and implementation of the learning programs for Global Services using a sound instructional design process. Research literature, media and technology for the most relevant, cost effective and best-in-class training approaches
  • Assist in creating assessments, metrics, and evaluations to measure learning impact. Work with Regional Security Instructors to evaluate the skill sets and knowledge of trainees and provide documentation and feedback to leadership
  • Work closely with both GS Management, Staff, and the Regional Security Instructors to ensure a high-quality training program globally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, instructional design, business or related field required or related experience. Proven experience in instructional design, organizational development, and/or learning and development.
  • Experience applying learning and development practices to business environment and gaining broad-scale alignment and support for learning initiatives.
  • Technical writing, teaching/training, performance measuring, multimedia, curriculum and course development, ability to work independently or on a team.
  • Experience in designing and developing training content a must. Formal instructional design experience and credentials preferred.
  • ELearning authoring tool experience is a must. (Articulate Presenter, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Applications, Captivate).
  • Must have a proven track record of implementing “Best in Class” learning initiatives that have driven significant culture change and which created strong business results.
  • Must have experience integrating multiple learning practices, systems and processes into a cohesive, holistic, high impact learning strategy and plan.
  • Must have experience in consulting, presenting, facilitating and communicating.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principals and training methods.
  • Previous experience developing training materials using alternative media, venues (classroom, video, fun/interactive/games, mentoring/coaching, community of practice, online 'university' platform, on-demand short topic modules).
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Experience working in the Cybersecurity industry or at a Managed Security Services (MSS) Provider a solid plus.
